My approach to Pilates is based on awakening awareness of our own body, in order to move more mindfully and efficiently in daily life, and for each individual to find an optimal movement experience. The aim is to prevent pain and injury through movement, or, if injuries have already occurred, to find a more aligned/organised way of moving in order to prevent reoccurrences.
I share Pilates elder's, Eve Gentry, view that "Pilates is not just a series of exercises, it is a concept. It is a philosophy".

I have been a Pilates Foundation UK qualified Matwork teacher since 2015, and a Comprehensive Pilates teacher (Polestar Pilates UK) since 2019. I also have a background in the arts, having graduated from Goldsmiths University with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and Critical Studies, followed by a PGD in Philosophy and Critical Theory at the CRMEP, Middlesex University.
My interest in movement and its embodiment brought me to the Pilates Method, and since then I have continued to grow in my Pilates practice. In July 2019 I completed Gary Carter’s year-long course ‘Anatomy and Movement’, which has deepen my fascial understanding of the body, its relation to gravity and movement integration.

I continue developing my interest in human movement and function by attending workshops regularly, as well as by studying other methods. In 2022 I completed my Bowen Technique training with Julian Baker, at the College of Bowen Studies. And in 2024 I have been certified as a Feldenkrais practitioner by Mia Segal and Leora Gaster, at the MBS Academy.
At the moment, I offer 1:1 Pilates apparatus sessions in a fully equipped Pilates studio in the City of London:
